By combining the Pipistrel Velis Electro with the powerful Cirrus SR Series, we have created a unique pathway for a fast, efficient, and effective learning experience.
This program blends the simplicity of electric flight with the capabilities of traditional combustion aircraft, giving students the best of both worlds. Starting with electric-powered systems allows our students to focus on core skills from day one, mastering essential “stick-and-rudder” techniques without the added complexity of engine management in the early stages.
The results speak for themselves: on average, Bluetail students who participate in this hybrid program complete their training faster than those following a Cirrus-only course. Additionally, by adopting this innovative program, we are actively working to minimize our carbon footprint.
